The Winter Experience
Winter in the Canadian Rocky mountains is magical. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the blanket of white snow offers many opportunities to play and enjoy the outdoors despite below zero temperatures. From hiking in snowy forests to walking on a frozen lake, from discovering icefalls in a canyon to snowshoeing in the deep snow, there is undoubtedly an option for your group.
We visit some of the most beautiful places within Banff, Kootenay, Yoho, Jasper National Parks. But we also venture off the beaten path to enjoy the less known but equally breathtaking areas of Kananaskis and David Thompson Country.

Duration: up to 8 hours including transportation.
Location
Access to multiple National and Provincial Parks of the Canadian Rockies. We guide in Banff National Park, Yoho National Park, Kootenay National Park, Jasper National Park, Waterton National Park, Glacier National Park and Mount Revelstoke National Park. We also guide within the vast Region of Kananaskis (grouping of multiple Alberta Provincial Parks) and some public land recreational areas.
Hiker’s profile
The itinerary will be built according to your hiker’s profile. The main focus can be on winter hiking, sightseeing, snowshoeing, canyon walking, etc. We will consider your interest and needs to make this adventure unique.
Note: The objective has to stay within the ACMG Hiking Guide’s Scope of Practice.

Service description
Our guide will take you in charge from day one; from exchanging emails to leading you on the terrain. He will create and send you a document with useful information including hiking/sightseeing options, equipment list and more.
On the day of service, our guide will pick you up from your local accommodation and take you on a great journey. You will get briefed on the upcoming adventure and the guide will make sure you have everything needed for the day. Food and snacks will be provided for you.
Our leader will safely drive and guide you in the mountains and will assure a memorable experience.

✔ Professional Hiking Guide
Our Hiking Guide has 14 years of experience in exploring the Canadian Rocky Mountains and some other parts of the continent. He is a certified Hiking Guide of the ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides). He is also a member of the IGA (Interpretive Guide Association) and an accredited Wilderness First Responder.
Complementary certifications: ACMG Hiking Guide Winter Travel, AST1 (Avalanche Safety Training Level 1)
Your guide speaks 3 languages: French, English and Spanish.
✔ Alpine Snacks and Lunch
We will provide healthy and nutritious options to make sure you can stay energised all the way to the end of the hike. When you are contacted, you will be asked to provide info about allergies and/or dietary choices.

Avoid the hassle of trying to find the trailhead. Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you there in comfort, all while he shares his knowledge and stories of the area. At the same time, you can really enjoy picturesque scenery without missing any details; not to mention the added bonus that you won't have to drive back at the end of the day, as you might be "a bit" tired!
